In the cold winter months, I store them at home on a Pulsetech XC-100 pulse charger. I have three being used now.My 3 season off-grid cottage's main power is supplied by 2 Rolls 428Ah L16 batteries in series, and they're charged either by solar panels or a gas-generator-powered 45A converter/charger when its cloudy. I'll be getting more for my fleet of off-road/on-road antiques. The display shows the current and voltage with tenths of an amp it actually does regulate voltage as current drops until full charge where it shuts off completely and monitors the battery. I tested it on a 12volt 18ah SLA battery and two separate 12volt 100ah AGM batteries and it brought back an old automotive 12volt size 35 battery. For the price I expected junk, but it worked really well. Verified purchase: Yes Condition: New Sold by: 3c-shop2012įor the price I expected junk, but it worked really well. I have used it on several different batteries, none over a year old, with the same result. So far it doesn't do this and I am thinking about returning it. I originally wanted to keep it connected thinking it would shut off automatically when battery is fully charged. I have to disconnect it before it causes damage. Instead the batteries continue to overcharge causing warm temperatures of battery housing. Unfortunately I have yet to see it do this. Automatically switching to float charge was what sold me on it. The charger boasts some impressive features. Verified purchase: Yes Condition: New Sold by: feijoa183 This one battery it fixed has paid for the charger! WOW! i checked the charger every now and then, it finally turned off after 24 hrs and when i checked the voltage it was 12.8v! it not only automatically repaired the battery but it also charged it up too! all i did was hook it up, plugged it into the wall outlet and pressed the mode button to select repair and let the charger do the rest. i can say the repair mode on this charger worked better and easier than expected. This one battery it fixed has paid for the charger! WOW! this revived a dead scooter battery that had only 2v in it and been sitting for over a year on a project scooter i bought.
